Our aims
Every human being should respect animals, their feelings, their wellbeing. We are standing out to fight for this purpose. We are committed to reducing the number of stray dogs and to create the life they deserve. We adopt them, socializing them, maintain their body and soul wellbeing. Our most important aim is to find a warm and loving family for them as soon as it is possible.
Our doors are open for visitors every day, we participate in various events. Apart from the adoption, our purpose is to educate people about our environment and about the responsible animal keeping. Our mission is the education of tolerance towards living creatures, strengthening sense of responsibility regarding our environment, developing a culture of keeping animals in a responsible way.
Our aim is that when somebody walks into our shelter, he would not see any sad dogs but dogs who likes to be there, in our sanctuary.
Who we are
We are proud of our team: 3 carers and 10-15 volunteers work with passion and love for our dogs.
How can you help
Just like any other shelter in Hungary, Arvacska Allatotthon does not get any support from the government. We rely on donations of animal-loving people’s and companies’ and the offered 1% of our supporters’ personal income tax.
Please, help us to keep going and maintaining the needs of rescued animals.
You can help:
- Please offer 1% tax of yours to us, it means a lot for our dogs
- We are really thankful for every donation whether it is material or financial
- Dedicated volunteers, companies or any other groups are more than welcome to come to visit us, take out any of our dogs for a walk or just pet them, even helping us in our everyday tasks to contribute to our more successful operation, and to ensure the wellbeing of our dogs.
